I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Total Solar Eclipse with my family and it is a memory that I will cherish. So very glad that the weather held out and we were able to enjoy this memorable event. The next complete Solar Eclipse in the USA will be in 2045.

On April 19, LHMS will have our annual 8th Grade Formal Dance from 6-9. The theme that students voted on was "The City Never Sleeps" (New York, New York theme). Tickets will go on sale during 8th grade lunch on April 16 - 19 for $5.

Any 8th grade student with more than one referral from March 18 to April 15 are not allowed to purchase a ticket. Master list will be run on Tuesday, April 16. Reach out to Mrs Parsons, 8th grade AP, with any questions.

Want to connect with LHMS, see firsthand the exceptional education on campus, and be a “staff member” for the day. You will walk alongside Mrs Miller and get to experience LHMS firsthand in the hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, and commons areas.

Reserve one of the 5 spots available each month to be an "LHMS Staff Member for the Day". This is for adults only (parents and grandparents), no siblings.

Time Commitment is: 7:30 - 11:30. Parking will be in front parking lot. Check in front office when you arrive with your ID. Wear professional attire and comfy shoes appropriate for walking around middle school. We will start our day with greeting students and staff at 7:45. Get excited!!!
